Independence Day

Fourth of July is right around the corner and it’s one of the few holidays of the year where Americans take off work and celebrate.

Growing up there were a lot of American flags everywhere in our home and I thought it was so lame and dorky. Looking back now, I realize it wasn’t dorky at all. My Dad, our main stay photographer, and my mom are both immigrants and have always celebrated America with pride.

Knowing how much that pride is a part of the fabric of my parents’ story is what makes our American Flag photo so special. Taken in Chelsea, NYC, this photo encapsulates all that majestic idealism we hold so close to us as Americans. And while American flags are a constant presence in our local neighborhoods, we can easily just walk by them without notice. However, once in a while, there’s one that just stops you— and this one’s it.

Take a look here and think about how you can bring a little more American spirit into your home or business this Fourth of July.

Let’s Hang!

P.S. Tune in to Instagram to find out when we'll be in an NYC neighborhood near you.
